Chalet Golf was founded in 1986 for gentlemen golfers over the age of 55.  The founding meeting was held at Etobicoke’s Centennial Park ski chalet, where the group decided to name the club Chalet Golfers. Since then, it has thrived, growing to 100 active members with a short waiting list.

We play courses west of the Greater Toronto Area every Thursday and almost every Monday from May until late October.  A variety of courses are scheduled, which can be viewed by clicking the Our Courses button.  Members are expected to play a minimum of 10 games per year, with exceptions granted for medical reasons.

Membership dues are reasonable and contribute toward trophies and prizes for our friendly competitions throughout the year.  We also host an annual championship banquet and a Christmas luncheon.

As a relaxed club, our tee times are randomly assigned.  However, we make accommodations for carpooling whenever possible, ensuring that carpoolers have tee times close together.
