Chalet Golf was started in 1986 for gentlemen golfers over the age of 55. The first meeting of the founding fathers was in Centennial Park’s ski chalet.  As they were looking for a name it was decided to name the new golf group Chalet Golfers. It has been thriving ever since.  We now have 100 active members along with a short waiting list.

Play is every Thursday and almost every Monday from late April or early May and concludes in late October.  A variety of courses are played as can be seen by clicking on the course button. We ask that each member play a minimum of 10 games per year and do allow exceptions to this for medical reasons.  Dues are quite reasonable and go toward trophies and prizes for our different friendly competitions that are held during the year.  A championship banquet and Christmas luncheon are held yearly.  As a relaxed club, tee times for our members are randomly mixed.   Allowances are made for car pooling so, if possible, carpoolers tee times are close together.​
